Heligan strengthens Healthcare Practice with appointment of healthcare expert Ramesh Jassal

Ramesh is recognised as a sector specialist M&A advisor in the areas of Health and Social Care, Medical Equipment and Devices, and Pharma/Life Sciences in the UK.

Strategic advisory and investment specialists Heligan Group has appointed Ramesh Jassal as Lead Strategic Partner in Healthcare. Ramesh has joined Heligan Group from Clearwater International, where he was a Senior Director and spent 15 years setting up and developing its UK and International Healthcare sector platform.
 
Ramesh is a seasoned M&A professional and has overseen 50+ domestic and international transactions with an aggregate value of £3.5 billion. He is focused on driving business development and developing client relationships with owner managed businesses, corporates and private equity, specialising in supporting on a range of domestic and cross-border transactions including acquisitions, business disposals, private equity investment and the sale of non-core divisions.

With over two decades of experience in the healthcare industry, Ramesh Jassal began his career as a Senior Research Scientist at a leading life sciences company. After gaining substantial expertise in research, he transitioned into the commercial sector, working for a major private equity firm for five years. In 2010, Ramesh shifted his focus to healthcare M&A by joining a corporate finance firm, where he honed his skills and established a robust network within the healthcare sector, working with small to medium-sized enterprises as well as multinational corporations and financial investors.
 
This new role represents a pivotal moment in Ramesh's career, and he is eager to dive into the exciting challenges ahead, leveraging his decades of healthcare experience, and is focused on delivering on the growth ambitions of Heligan Group and support its focus on building team sector experience.
