Martin Baines

Background

Martin joined Heligan Group to focus on private equity investment and fund-raising activities across the group.

He brings extensive Private Equity experience, in both Executive and Non Executive roles. He led the buyout of Quilter from Morgan Stanley and subsequent sale to Old Mutual Wealth Group in 2014. After a Group name change to Quilter, there was an IPO in 2018, valuing Quilter at c£3bn. Martin’s wealth management experience will be invaluable as Heligan expands its future operations.
